Presidents Message:
Hello friends and members!
This year has started with a bang with the fantastic Fasching Dance that we had on Feb. 7.The Europa Band from Orlando kept everyone dancing all afternoon. The costumes this year were the best I have seen, we had scarecrows, hobos, tigers, hawaiian wedding couples, gypsies, mobsters and hippies too. We also had a Heino tribute show, with a Heino impersonator singing some of his greatest hit songs.We had a good crowd of members, people from other clubs, like the GAC of the Villages, the Deutscher club of the Villages, GAC Club of
West Central Florida, The Belleview Pulaski Club and members from the GAC of Palm Coast Florida.
I must remind you that we are still collecting membership dues for 2010, if you cannot come to the meetings, please mail your dues
to our Post Office box.
Our bus for the German Heritage day event in St. Petersburg is now full. You'll need to be at the Sam's Club store on SR 200 and
I-75 at 8:30am, the bus will leave there at 9am.
Tickets for our semi-annual Picnicfest on April 18 are now on sale; hopefully the weather will be better than what it has been this
winter, BRRRRRR!
